SALADS
Chick and white sprouts salad
Serves-1
Ingredients
Amounts (g)
White Sprouts
1/4cup
Chick peas
1/4cup
Cucumber
½#
Tomato
1/1#
Pineapple
1 slice
Spring onion (finely chopped)
2 Tbsp
Coriander leaves
1tbsp
Parsley
 
For Seasoning
 
Lemon Juice
1
Red Chilly Powder
1/8tsp
Black Pepper Powder
1/4tsp
Salt
To taste
Method
1. Peel and cut cucumber into medium sized cubes along with pineapple, and tomatoes.
2. Chop coriander leaves and spring onions finely.
3. Mix all the above ingredients keeping aside few coriander leaves and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
4. To make the seasoning, mix together lemon juice, red chilly powder, black pepper powder and salt.
5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss it well.
6. Just before serving garnish with coriander leaves and parsley.
  Nutritious and tasty, high on fibre and vitamin content. Tastes better when served chilled.
