Director of the group, Girish Talwalkar said
that the gym was the result of two years of extensive planning
considering the stress factor which most of the Bangaloreans
are facing now. "The fitness centre is one of the best
among Talwalkars fitness centres which is equipped with a
spa," says Girish. "In terms of service, size and
location, Talwalkars in Sadashivnagar is premium. The new
centre qualifies as a seven star health club and is accessible
to all health-seekers," says Anshu Vyas, General manager,
Talwakars Bangalore. "Exercise prescription and training
is done by physiotherapists and professionals. People interested
in doing cardiovascular workouts and a little stretching and
toning will have an area where they are comfortable doing
that. They don't have to go near the power-lifting stuff,
where they may feel less comfortable," she added.
Addressing the press, the director said
that the gym's target is to meet 100 fitness centers through
out the country without retailing into any of the franchisees.
About 20 fitness centers are under construction and the formal
opening will be within one year. The gym offers access to
state-of-the-art cardio, resistance and free-weight training
