Talwalkars celebrate 75 years with fitness challenge competition.

To complete the 75 years celebrations, Talwalkars organized a grand get-together inviting all business associates, family members, directors, branch managers, senior employees, the winners of branch level fitness contest and friends and well-swishers

The event was organized at Mayfair Rooms, Worli, Mumbai on13th Jan 2008. The theme of the event was Las Vegas and so the decor gave a casino feel.

During the event, our Chairman Mr. Madhukar Talwalkar also honored the title holders (from India) Mr Universe: Mr. Premchand Degra, Mr Asia: Mr.Vitendra Singh and Mr India: Sandeep Walavalkar.

The national level fitness contest was run in 26 branches across India. The prizes for this fitness contest are:

1st prize: Maruti SX4 car (worth Rs. 7 lakh approximately)
2nd prize: Raymond Weil watch (worth Rs. 1.25 lakh)
3rd prize: International Holiday by Cox and Kings (worth Rs 1 lakh)

Each branch short listed 3 winners for all 3 prizes and then these 3 winners from all 26 branches were selected for the national level competition. The 2nd and 3rd prize national level prizes were announced at Talwalkars Corporate office by Shri. Justice Chandrashekhar Dharmadhikari in presence of Directors of Talwalkars, corporate office staff and Branch Managers from Mumbai branches.

2nd prize winner: Mr. Ulhas Haldankar, Mumbai - Goregoan branch
3rd prize winner: Ms.Vidya Natrajan, Chennai - Adyar branch.


The winner for the Grand prize Maruti SX4 was announced by Mr.Madhukar Talwalkar: Mr Vijay Kumar Chennai, Adyar branch.

As part of the event, Can-Can performers presented a Las Vegas theme dance program.
